Dining furniture could use an upgrade- tops of tables felt a bit grimy to touch.
Great local restaurant. Friendly staff, clean facilities, and moderate prices. There is a bar area, as well as an outdoor seating area.
The fish whistle is a pretty popular spot in Chestertown, but the food is not on par with the Waterfront View. I went to the fish whistle ordering fish and chips, a pretty standard dish when it comes to a seafood restaurant. Although the the chips were fair, the fish itself was soggy, the breading was flavorless, and the dish in general was a bit pricey. Although I have not gone back to the fish whistle and ordered anything else, I am not optimistic for anything more complex then a fish chips. The service was good, the lady that served us was very nice and always had a smile. So in general the experience was okay. There are plenty better places to go to in Chestertown, but when it comes to fish you're better off going to Annapolis for better food.
Beautiful spot right on the water. Cozy bar with food and drink specials as well as a stylish dining area. Great fun, great food, great people.
Overall would go back again. We're local and its our first time trying in years.
Server was polite and did a great job. Atmosphere and overall dining experience was very good. Burgers were patties rather than home-made but cooked to perfection and no complaints from us. Cooked medium-rare with good temperature as requested. Very large portions- fries covered entire plate. Salads were fresh and well put-together with a variety of greens. Everything appeared quite fresh.
We had s superb lunch there yesterday. Our waitress Kelley made it extremely special since we were celebrating our friend Beth's birthday which also was her birthday too. Definitely going back for that crab soup
